Second Stage Round 2: Reales - Indios 86-89

Important game to mention about took place in La Vega. Indios saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Reales 89-86 on Friday evening. Strangely Reales outrebounded Indios 45-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. Naturalized American guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 assists. Guard Juan Suero (196-1993) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Rigoberto Mendoza (190-1992) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Angel Delgado (208-1994, college: Seton Hall) added 18 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Reales. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Indios will play against Titanes in San Cristobal in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Reales will play on the road against Marineros in Puerto Plata and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
