An exciting game was played in Santiago. Capitanes faced Evolve OL. Host Capitanes defeated guests from 106-99. Capitanes outrebounded Evolve OL 49-26 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Evolve OL's players. Forward Rich Polanco (203-1997, college: S.Dakota) had a triple-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Adris Rodriguez (203-1988) chipped in 13 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Capitanes' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aneury Parra responded with 30 points and Benny Nova scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Capitanes' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Fenix.
