There was a minor upset whenBonao (1-3) lost on the road to Puerto Plata (1-3) 80-75 on Wednesday. Puerto Plata looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Rich Polanco (203-1997, college: S.Dakota) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Naturalized Venezuelan Kelvin Pena (193-1980, college: Southeastern) accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and added 20 points respectively for Bonao in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Bonao's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
