Important game to mention about took place in . Third ranked ATUC (3-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging second-ranked A Encestar (4-3) 51-49 on Tuesday evening. The winners were led by Maria Carpio who scored that evening 12 points and 4 assists and Sthefany Narvaez supported her with 8 points and 11 rebounds. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by the former international Marjorie Caicedo (180-1990, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for A Encestar. Lucia Garrido added 12 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. ATUC maintains third position with 3-4 record having just three points less than leader Piratas, which they share with Los Andes SM. A Encestar at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. ATUC will again play against league's second-placed A Encestar in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. A Encestar will have a break next round.
