The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Bulldogs as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bulldogs smashed 6th ranked Se7en at home 68-39. Bulldogs forced 36 Se7en turnovers and had a 23-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was swingman Andrea Batres (170-93) who scored 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Valeria Castro (170-1) chipped in 10 points, 8 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Alessandra Flores (-4) who recorded 8 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Silvia Martinez (163-86) added 5 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Se7en's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Bulldogs have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with San Marcos and Lincoln. Newly promoted Se7en keeps the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with Sivar. Se7en will play next round against strong Salvadorenas trying to get back on the winning streak. Bulldogs will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
