Regular Season Round 1: Santa Tecla Elite - Sivar 51-79

An interesting game for Sivar which played road game in Santa Tecla against Santa Tecla Elite. Sivar had an easy win 79-51. Sivar outrebounded Santa Tecla Elite 45-31 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Valeria Castro (170-2001) stepped up and scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and point guard Wendy Guevara (165-2001) chipped in 23 points. At the losing side Karla Alas (165-1996) responded with 20 points and point guard Karla Candelas (172-1988) scored 6 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sivar will play against Se7en in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Santa Tecla Elite will have a break next round.
