Regular Season Round 2: Sivar - Se7en 49-22

No shocking result in a game when Sivar crushed at home Se7en 49-22 on Saturday. Sivar held Se7en to an opponent 20.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 21.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Sivar forced 40 Se7en turnovers and outrebounded them 46-35 including a 25-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Alma Guzman (172-1987) notched 10 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Claudia Morales (166-2001) supported her with 9 points. Sivar's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks by Ariela Castillo did not help to save the game for Se7en. Ivis Ponce added 5 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Sivar will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Se7en will play against Teclenas and hope to win that game.
