The biggest surprise of round 15 was guestIndependiente 's (#6) road victory over Brujos (#7) 92-81 on Monday evening. Independiente dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Brujos ' 44. Independiente looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Andravious Smith (198-1995, college: Tougaloo) who scored 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import Nick Moore (198-1991, college: Alliance) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Marcus Millien (188-2000, college: Carlow) who recorded 29 points and 9 rebounds and forward Andres Padilla (191-1996) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Brujos' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Independiente maintains sixth place with 7-8 record. Brujos at the other side keep the seventh position with nine games lost.
