Liga MB top team -San Salvador (18-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Brujos (2-18) 124-70 . San Salvador dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Brujos ' 42. They outrebounded Brujos 60-29 including a 44-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. San Salvador players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Brujos ' players. It was a great evening for Cuban forward Yoel Cubillas (204-1994) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 18 rebounds. Dominican guard Nargenis Ulloa (182-1997) helped adding 24 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. San Salvador's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard DAndre Collins (196, college: Bridgeport) responded with 27 points and 7 rebounds and guard Walter Chinchilla (184-2004) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four Brujos players scored in double figures. The victory was the eighteenth consecutive win for San Salvador . They maintain first place with 18-0 record. Brujos lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom.
