LeaderSan Salvador delivered the twelfth victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Capitalinas (0-13) 102-48 . San Salvador dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Capitalinas ' 36. San Salvador forced 27 Capitalinas turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. San Salvador players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Capitalinas ' players. It was a good game for Anisleidy Galindo who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 20 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals. Cuban point guard Arlenys Romero (176-1984) contributed with 25 points, 16 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Four San Salvador players scored in double figures. Forward Gabriela Funes (178-2008) replied with 7 points and 6 rebounds and Jaylin Cruz added 10 points in the effort for Capitalinas. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Salvador (12-1) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Capitalinas at the other side still closes the standings with 13 games lost.
