The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Halcones (4-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Dark Knights (1-4). Halcones smashed Dark Knights 122-55. Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 116 of its points in the paint compared to Dark Knights' 32. Halcones forced 22 Dark Knights turnovers and outrebounded them 70-27 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Dark Knights' players. Point guard David Monterroso (180-1979) had a double-double by scoring 67 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Victor Sosa (190-1988) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jose Maltez (-2001) with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Darren Donis (-2002) scored 16 points. Halcones have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Villa Nueva. Dark Knights lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with four games lost.
