The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Guatemala:Forza (#4) and Halcones (#3). Forza (5-2) won against visiting Halcones (4-2) 92-87 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Halcones. Strangely Halcones outrebounded Forza 56-41 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forza shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 51.3 percentage. It was a great evening for Sebastian Tabata who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 9 rebounds. point guard Anthony Guerra (178-1997) helped adding 31 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Salgado Salgado responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds and point guard David Monterroso (180-1979) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Halcones players scored in double figures. Forza moved-up to third place. Halcones at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost.
