The game between Top Four teams took place in Saltillo. Second ranked host Racers (6-4) defeated one of their biggest challengers Barreteras (4-6) 62-54. Racers shot 21 for 30 from the free-throw line, while Barreteras only scored four points from the stripe. Ana Bernal fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Nicole Millender chipped in 18 points. Racers' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Paola Estrada (172-93, agency: DC Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Ashanti Hunt (180-96, college: BCU) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Racers have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Racers maintains second position with 6-4 record having just three points less than leader Aztks. Loser Barreteras keep the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Mexcaltecas and Quetzales. Racers will meet league's leader Lobas in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Barreteras will play against Quetzales in Ciudad de Mexico and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
