Finals Game 5: Dorados - Soles 112-107

Dorados earned the third straight victory in the title series. They used a furious fourth-quarter rally to secure 3-2 lead in the Finals. The hosts trailed by 21 points after three quarters before their 42-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Dorados dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Soles' 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Naturalized American Durrell Summers (196-89, college: Michigan St.) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and Puerto Rican Gilberto Clavell (200-89, college: SHSU) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Dorados' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Gary Ricks (185-91, college: Drake) responded with 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and the former international Fabian Jaimes (198-92) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Dorados and four Soles players scored in double figures.
