Regular Season Round 2: Lenadores - Plateros 89-86

A very close game took place in Durango between Lenadores and Plateros. Lenadores got a very close home victory over Plateros. Lenadores managed to escape with a 3-point win 89-86 on Sunday evening. Lenadores made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. American forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Swedish-American point guard Omar Krayem (186-88, college: CBU, agency: Haylett Sports) supported him with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Lenadores players scored in double figures. Even 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (was perfect 15-for-15 from the free throw line !!!) by American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: UNC) did not help to save the game for Plateros. His fellow American import swingman Aaron Valdes (196-93, college: Hawaii) added 11 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Lenadores will meet Dorados in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Plateros will play against Fuerza Regia in Monterrey and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
