Regular Season Round 11: Mineros - Libertadores 87-103

The most interesting game of round 11 was a home defeat of 6th ranked Mineros (9-10) by fourth ranked Libertadores (10-9) who outscored them by 16 points 103-87 in the game for the fifth place. Libertadores shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for American-Ivorian center Deon Thompson (204-1988, college: UNC, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Branden Frazier (191-1992, college: Fordham, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 21 points and 5 assists. American swingman Jordan Williams (198-1992, college: N.Texas) responded with 21 points and the other American import power forward Franklin Hassell (203-1988, college: ODU, agency: SDJ Sports) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Five Libertadores and four Mineros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Libertadores went down to fifth position due to points difference. Mineros lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Plateros.
