There was a minor upset when 3rd placed Dorados (5-5) lost to sixth ranked Soles (3-7) in Chihuahua 61-77 on Wednesday. Soles dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Dorados' 18. They outrebounded Dorados 47-30 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dominican Donte Clark nailed 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (201-1990, college: Murray St., agency: 011 Sports) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Soles players scored in double figures. Soles' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
