Regular Season Round 15: Dorados - Santos 82-86

There was a small surprise when eighth rankedSantos (6-6) beat 6th ranked Dorados (6-6) in Chihuahua 86-82 on Friday. Santos made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Santos outrebounded Dorados 35-19 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American center Kevin Allen (211-1994, college: Emporia St., agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Luis Lopez accounted for 10 points and 7 assists for the winning side. American point guard Lester Medford Jr (178-1993, college: Baylor) came up with 15 points and 9 assists and Swedish guard Elijah Clarance (194-1998, college: Illinois St.) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Dorados in the defeat. Five Santos and four Dorados players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Santos moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Dorados and Plateros.
