No shocking result in a game when tenth rankedPlateros (6-6) crushed 15th ranked Halcones Rojos (2-8) in Fresnillo 108-85 on Saturday. Plateros shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 55.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Halc.Rojos ' players. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Michael Bryson (193-1994, college: UCSB) who led the winners and scored 23 points. His fellow American import guard Christian Harvey (185, college: Marian, IN) accounted for 14 points and 5 assists for the winning side. American guard Colin Dougherty (193-1996, college: Hobart) came up with 22 points and Nigerian-American power forward Ikechukwu Diogu (204-1983, college: Arizona St.) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Halc.Rojos in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Plateros moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Santos and Dorados. Loser Halcones Rojos dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Freseras.
