An interesting game took place in Zacatecas where 4th placedMineros (8-5) were upset on its own court by fifteenth ranked Freseras (3-8) 82-75 . Freseras forced 23 Mineros turnovers. Strangely Mineros outrebounded Freseras 44-31 including 35 on the defensive glass. American forward Anthony Tarke (201-1998, college: Coppin St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) accounted for 16 points and 7 assists. American guard Malik Curry (184-1999, college: WVU) came up with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Armenian-American guard Andre Spight (191-1995, college: N.Colorado) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Mineros in the defeat. Mineros' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Freseras moved-up to thirteenth place. Mineros at the other side keep the fourth position with five games lost.
