Las Avispas has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Huskys (1-5) 62-57 on Sunday. Stefi Abarca stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and the former international Gabriela Castrejon chipped in 12 points and 14 rebounds. Las Avispas' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Erika Mora responded with 25 points and 5 assists and Raisa Valdes scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Las Avispas (1-3) left bottom position moving up to sixth place. Huskys at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost.
