Regular Season Round 17: Toros - Indomables 93-96

The most exciting game of round 17 in the LBE took place in Nuevo Laredo. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th rankedToros (9-6) to seventh ranked Indomables (5-9) 96-93 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Toros. Indomables made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Alberto Ochoa (180-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). The former international Gabriel Vazquez (206-1994) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. American center Gerard DeVaughn (205-1988, college: Stillman) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Justin Bibbs (196-1996, college: Virginia Tech) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Indomables and four Toros players scored in double figures. Indomables maintains seventh place with 5-9 record. Toros at the other side keep the fifth position with six games lost.
