The game in Ciudad de Mexico supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth rankedDragonas (5-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Huskys (2-9). Dragonas smashed Huskys 91-70 on Saturday. Dragonas dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Huskys ' 34. Dragonas forced 20 Huskys turnovers. The winners were led by Paola Velazquez who scored that evening 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Katia Mendoza supported her with 21 points. Even a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds by Erika Mora did not help to save the game for Huskys . Raisa Valdes added 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Dragonas maintains fifth position with 5-6 record. Huskys at the other side dropped to the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Toritas.
