Important game to mention about took place in Ciudad Victoria. Fifth rankedFuerza Regia (3-3) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Correcaminos (1-5) 79-78 on Sunday evening. Fuerza Regia made 17-of-17 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-South Sudanese guard Delicia Washington (178-1997, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and Spanish power forward Maria Pendande (193-2000, college: Miami, FL) who added 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. American forward DreUna Edwards (183-2000, college: Baylor) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Kennedy Todd-Williams (183, college: Ole Miss, agency: LBM Management) scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rojas. Correcaminos lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Abejas.
