Regular Season Round 14: Correcaminos - Freseras 81-78

The most exciting game of round 14 in the LNBPF took place in Ciudad Victoria. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Freseras (5-9) to fifth ranked Correcaminos (6-8) 81-78 in the game for the fifth place. Correcaminos forced 19 Freseras turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward DreUna Edwards (183-2000, college: Baylor) scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Destiny Littleton (175-1999, college: USC) chipped in 21 points during the contest. Guard Destiny Pitts (178-1999, college: Texas A&M) responded with 25 points and center Quay Miller (190-2001, college: Colorado, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Four Correcaminos and five Freseras players scored in double figures. Freseras' coach Christopher Gutierrez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Correcaminos have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-8 record. Freseras lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with nine games lost.
