Astros dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Halcones de Ciudad Obregon 's 36. American forward Tre McCallum (201-1995, college: DePaul, agency: MSG) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Filipino guard Mikh McKinney (184-1992, college: Sacramento St.) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Astros' coach Ivan Deniz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Josh Perkins (191-1995, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) scored 23 points. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures.
