The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeatedMineros (5-1) in Zacatecas on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by ninth ranked Freseras (2-4) 86-85 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mineros. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman JP Moorman II (201-1998, college: UC Riverside, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Harrison Butler (196, college: SUU) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Freseras players scored in double figures. American swingman Dexter McClanahan (193-1997, college: Nicholls) answered with 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists and American-Argentinian guard Romeao Ferguson (196-1997, college: Lipscomb) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Mineros. Mineros' coach Facundo Muller rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Freseros went down to tenth position due to points difference, which they share with Halc.Xalapa. Mineros at the other side keep the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Diablos.
