Mineros looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Santos ' players. It was a very good performance for guard Bryan Rivera (188-1995) who helped to win the game recording 23 points (perfect behind the arc making all seven shots !!!). American-Argentinian guard Romeao Ferguson (196-1997, college: Lipscomb) contributed with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Mineros' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Jaire Grayer (196-1996, college: TCU) answered with 25 points and 4 assists and Dominican Luismal Ferreiras (200-2003) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Santos. Four Santos players scored in double figures.
