Panteras made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Fuerza Regia outrebounded Panteras 41-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. Argentinian-American Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) stepped up and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and American point guard Jaron Martin (178-1995, college: UC Irvine) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
