No shocking result in a game when second rankedMineras (10-4) crushed bottom-ranked Toritas (1-13) in Zacatecas 86-49 on Saturday. Mineras dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Toritas ' 30. They outrebounded Toritas 42-29 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mineras looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Toritas ' players. The winners were led by the former international guard Paola Estrada (172-1993, agency: DC Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and center Diana Puente (185-1993) supported her with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Mineras players scored in double figures. Mineras' coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 14 points by Marcela Mancera did not help to save the game for Toritas . Yesica Vallejo added 7 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Mineras have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-4 record having just two point less than leader Mieleras. Toritas lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
