Mieleras outrebounded Toritas 54-26 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Mieleras players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Gabriela Sanchez (165-2000) nailed 9 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and the former international point guard Abril Reyes (168-2002, agency: Daggers Sports) accounted for 12 points and 6 rebounds. Mieleras' coach Jose Villegas felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Stephanie Lopez came up with 11 points and Yesica Vallejo added 7 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Toritas in the defeat.
