Tijuana Zonkeys dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Angeles ' 20. They outrebounded Angeles 42-16 including a 32-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Tijuana Zonkeys especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. Akia Pruitt (203-1997, college: UNCP) scored 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jaquan Lightfoot (203, college: Southeastern) chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Trahson Burrell (201-1992, college: Memphis) with 15 points and guard Jeremiah Davenport (201-1999, college: Arkansas) scored 11 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
