It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ingenieria. American forward Justin Miller (198-96, college: Detroit) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import Timothy Simmons (195-92, college: DBU) supported him with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Even 27 points by Cuban point guard Osmel Oliva (180-87) did not help to save the game for Ingenieria. The former international center Rudy Taylor (198-83) added 16 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brumas have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cacique D. Ingenieria at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. Brumas will play against bottom-ranked Tigres (#9) in Chinandega in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ingenieria will have a break next round.
