Rather predictable result when first ranked Jaguares (7-1) smashed on the road 5th ranked Leonas (1-5) 80-43 on Sunday. Jaguares held Leonas to an opponent 20.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.4 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Leonas 64-46 including a 46-35 advantage in offensive rebounds. Jaguares looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center Khadija Brown (190, college: UAPB) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Guard Reyna Lopez (-2002) chipped in 8 points and 16 rebounds. Panamanian guard Ileana Guerrero produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Katia Contreras (-1989) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jaguares have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Leonas lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost.
