First ranked Jaguares faced 4th placed Tipitapa. Host Jaguares (10-1) smashed guests from (5-5) 98-73. Jaguares outrebounded Tipitapa 55-32 including a 37-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American center Khadija Brown (190, college: UAPB) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Colombian center Narlyn Mosquera (197-1989) contributed with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Jaguares players scored in double figures. Clenia Salazar answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) added 23 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tipitapa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jaguares have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Newly promoted Tipitapa keeps the fourth position with five games lost.
