Brumas held off Caribbean Coast to seal their Finals berth. The best player for the winners was Dominican Xavier de la Rosa (196-1991) who scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Brumas' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) produced 32 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Jorge Gonzalez added 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests.
