Top ranked Jaguares (7-3) recorded its third loss on the court of third ranked Tipitapa on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Tipitapa 95-67. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Jaguares' players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) chipped in 29 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman DAsia Chambers (182-1992, college: Slippery Rock) who recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and center Linda Patterson added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Jaguares players scored in double figures. Jaguares' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Tipitapa (6-4) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place behind leader Jaguares. Jaguares at the other side still keep top position with three games lost. Tipitapa are looking forward to face bottom-ranked UNI (#5) in the next round. Jaguares will play against the league's second-placed Real Esteli (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
