There was an upset when higher rankedSebaco (6-2) lost to fifteenth ranked Leones (4-6) in Managua 61-68 on Saturday. Leones forced 20 Sebaco turnovers. Lindell Downs nailed 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Bryant Aguilar accounted for 9 points and 6 assists. The former international guard David Toruno (-1992) came up with 30 points and 7 rebounds and Erick Mairena (-2004) added 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Sebaco in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leones moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Jass and Hurricane. Loser Sebaco dropped to the fifth position with two games lost.
