The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeatedBrumas (13-1) on the court of seventh ranked Real Esteli on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Real Esteli 86-84 . It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Brumas. Real Esteli had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Deo Downs (-2006) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 assists and Nishon Thomas who added 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international Juan Herrera (187-1996) with 23 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Real Esteli and five Brumas players scored in double figures. Brumas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Real Esteli (10-4) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Brumas at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. They share it with Tipitapa.
