Regular Season Round 6: Leones - Indigenas 74-83

Indigenas has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Managua, where they defeated Leones (1-6) 83-74 on Tuesday. Indigenas forced 19 Leones turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Tylan Tylan (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) who scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard David Toruno (-1992) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Deondre Wade (194, college: Seminole St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Kevin Gutierrez (-2002) added 12 points, 8 assists and 5 steals respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Indigenas maintains eighth position with 1-5 record. It was Leones' sixth loss in a row. They stay at the bottom place with six games lost.
