Regular Season Round 2: Flecheros - Tigres 98-82

Flecheros used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Corinto 98-82 . Flecheros outrebounded Tigres 52-39 including a 39-28 advantage in offensive rebounds. Flecheros players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Dominican Bernardo Polanco (189-1994) notched 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Dominican Franklyn Batista supported him with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Flecheros players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 27 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals by Puerto Rican guard Ezequiel Colon (193-1999, college: Lehman) did not help to save the game for Tigres . Wilson Batista (-2003) added 21 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
