Brumas defeated Leones in Jinotega 86-76 . Brumas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican point guard Evander Ortiz (180-1997, college: PR-Bayamon) who scored 17 points and 9 assists. American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Brumas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Venezuelan center Miguel Bolivar (205-1992) who recorded 29 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Noah Williams (196-2001, college: JMU) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
