No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedReal Esteli (5-6) beat at home bottom-ranked Tigres (2-9) 112-97 . Real Esteli shot the lights out from three nailing 20 long-distance shots on high 54.1 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a great evening for the former international Jared Ruiz (188-1992) who led his team to a victory scoring 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991) helped adding 17 points and 8 assists. Puerto Rican guard Ezequiel Colon (193-1999, college: Lehman) responded with 30 points and 6 assists and scored 26 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Real Esteli moved-up to fourth place. Tigres at the other side stay at the bottom position with nine games lost.
