An interesting game forJaguares (13-2) which played road game in Jinotega against 3rd ranked Brumas (8-5). First ranked Jaguares managed to get a 11-point victory 95-84 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Brumas. Jaguares looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and international forward Josmel Martinez (198-1999, college: Broward CC) supported him with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds by did not help to save the game for Brumas . added 19 points for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brumas' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Jaguares maintains first position with 13-2 record. Loser Brumas keep the third place with five games lost.
