StrangelyFlecheros outrebounded Jaguares 51-37 including a 21-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 7 assists. International forward Josmel Martinez (198-1999, college: Broward CC) contributed with 27 points and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Glen Rice Jr (198-1991, college: Georgia Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Eden Ewing (204-1997, college: Texas Southern) added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Flecheros. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
