Undefeated leaderFlecheros recorded the seventh consecutive victory. This time they crushed 18th ranked Leon (2-5) 94-27 . Flecheros held Leon to an opponent 20.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 52.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Flecheros forced 21 Leon turnovers and outrebounded them 50-28 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Flecheros brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international Kevin Andino (186-2002) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds. The former international swingman Francisco Garth (195-1999) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Flecheros players scored in double figures. Jaime Gimenez answered with 9 points and Marcos Orozco added 4 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Leon. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Flecheros . They maintain first place with 7-0 record, which they share with Leones. Leon at the other side dropped to the seventeenth position with five games lost. They share it with Los Bufalos.
