Very expected game in Colon where 6th ranked Panteras (2-5) were crushed by second ranked Correcaminos (5-2) 76-53 on Saturday. Correcaminos outrebounded Panteras 42-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Panteras' players. Roberto Armstrong (182-0) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Forward Jhomar Garibaldi (188-2) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Angel Herrera (175-3, college: N.Essex CC) produced 13 points and forward Justin Diaz (187-2) added 13 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
