There was no surprise in Panama City where 5th ranked Atletico (3-5) was defeated by second ranked Correcaminos (6-2) 64-56 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of Roberto Armstrong (182-0) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Jorhiel Zapata (196-2) who added 13 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Oscar Zephyrine (190-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and forward Bryan Anderson (185-1) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Correcaminos used an opportunity after Univ.West lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Atletico lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost. Correcaminos will meet at home Dragones (#4) in the next round. Atletico's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Panama City Panteras.
