Regular Season Round 2: Caballos - Panteras 75-78

Another exciting game for Panteras which played in Aguadulce against Caballos. Panteras upset home team edging them after exciting game by three points 78-75. Caballos were very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Panteras forced 23 Caballos turnovers. Strangely Caballos outrebounded Panteras 55-33 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dominican point guard Raimer Santana (183-97) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Luis Dinolis (185-93, college: Broward CC) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Panteras' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Naturalized American Adalberto Rojas (195-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Orlando Ortega (200-81) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Panteras' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Panama City to the arena Dragones.
