Very important is a home loss of Felinas against Cobras on Sunday night. Host Felinas were defeated by Cobras in 71-53. They held Felinas to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Cobras forced 22 Felinas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Colombian forward Paola Rivas (178) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and center Natasha Villar (178) supported her with 17 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Cobras players scored in double figures. Even 4 points and 12 rebounds by Ashley Serrut did not help to save the game for Felinas. Ivanis Gonzalez added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cobras will meet at home Amazonas in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Felinas will play against Leonas and hope to win that game.
